Our Mission
Naval Air Station Pensacola
Independence Squadron is the local U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps unit in the Pensacola, FL area.
Originally commissioned aboard NAS Pensacola as the Independence Division in 1963, our unit has been developing tomorrow's leaders for over 53 years!
Independence Squadron is part of the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps, a nationwide youth program that has nearly 400 local units with 12,000 members including middle and high school youth and adult volunteers from across the United States.
